Shine (Make It Prima)

My dear crafty friends,

I'd like to share a layout I made for the Make It Prima challenge. It's called "Shine"

I used the  "Journées De Rêves et Aventures" paper from the French Riviera collection for my background.

I used the Donna Downey Mix 6 stencil with modeling paste.

All the flowers, trims and papers are from Prima.

I also used Crochet Doily die to make a paper doily.

My chipboards are from 2Crafty. I used the Fishing Net Bits, the biggest circle from the Frankie's Frames and my title piece is from the Fine Word Set 2.

This Boy (2Crafty Chipboard)

Dear crafty friends,

I'm here to share with you my second layout for 2Crafty this month. I used lots of Prime Marketing products as well. Let's take a closer look.

This Boy

To create my background, i used lots of products. I started out with clear gesso (art ingredients from Prima). Then, I used a bit of black gesso (art ingredients from Prima) under my main to areas. When everything was dry, I sprayed some Soft Teal and Deep Teal Color Bloom. I also used my palet knife to spread some Metallique Deep Waters, Emerald Green and Light Patina Metallic Acrylic Paint. 

To add texture, i used the Decor #1 and the Donna Downey Mix 6 stencils (Prima) with Light Paste (art basics from Prima).

To create more texture, I used Soft Matte Gel (art basics from Prima) to adhere Pitch Black and Midnight Blue Glass Glitter, Splash Micro Beads and Turquoise Glass Beads (art ingredients from Prima). 

I used the Offset Dots (Finnabair) and Read to Me (Finnabair) stamps with black archival ink.

I also used White Heavy Gesso (art ingredients by Prima) diluted with water to make drops on my background and to tie everything together. 

My paper is from the Wild & Free Collection: Everyday You. I also used the Deeply in Love paper from the Love Clippings Collection. Both are from Prima

I used flower lace and a doily die, also from Prima. Of course, all my flowers are from Prima. (Can you tell I LOVE Prima products?

As for 2Crafty, I used the Frame Lucy's Flourish as my main piece. I painted it with a Patina Metallic acrylic paint from Prima. 

 

I then decided to add some Film Strips Small, which I embossed with a dark blue embossing powder.

My title piece, the "This Boy" piece, is painted with Deep Water metallic acrylic paint from Prima.

Precious (2Crafty Chipboard)

Hi there, crafty souls,

I'm here today to share with you my first layout for 2Crafty this month.

Precious

For this layout, I went with a bright green. This color feels so happy! I started out with this beautiful paper (Sincerely) from Writer's Block collection by 7Dots Studio.

My layout is based on the two pieces of the Modern Swirls that I put together along the line of the paper. They received a coat of dark brown embossing powder.

Around my photo, I used one of the Frame Handdrawn Heart. I heat embossed it with black embossing powder.

My title piece is part of the Fine Word Set 2. I think this is one of my most favorite set of all times! I heat embossed the "Precious" word with white embossing powder.

I think this white title piece is perfect against the flowers and embellishments I used here.

Cherish (Shimmerz Paints)

My dear crafty souls,

I hope this post finds you well. I'm here on the blog today to share my most recent layout for Shimmerz Paints. Recently, I found some old pictures of my dad and his family. Don't you think he is handsome? :)

I went for a soft color combo on this one. 

On my background, I used The Cream Team Paste-Eez with a grid stencil.

I used Tuscan Sun, Bamboo Leaf and Caribbean Sunset Spritz and Keep Palm Coloringz. 

My chipboards are from 2Crafty Chipboard. I used the Mini Word Set 2 for my title, the Frames Tiny Kathleen's and some of the Fishing Net Bits.

Dream a Little Dream (Words & Paintery)

My dear crafty friends,

Today is the 15th, and that means it's time for another Words & Paintery challenge. My layout is called «Dream a Little Dream».

Here is the board.

I have to admit I was scared when I saw it. It's beautiful, but it's so light and pastel, and I'm not a pastel girl! But in the end, I love the layout I created.

This 7Dots Studio paper from Verano Azul collection is just perfect for this layout. 

I used the Handdrawn Feathers chipboards pieces by 2Crafty Chipboards. I embossed them with pale pink embossing powder. My title piece, the Dream a Little Dream piece, is also from 2Crafty. I embossed it with teal embossing powder.

Love (Shimmerz Paints)

Hi,

I'm here today to share my first layout for Shimmerz Paints. Buds had hatched here in the trees of my part of the world (Quebec City) and we finally get to see some green. That's what inspired me to create this layout.

Love

I started out my layout with white gesso. I then used two colors: Keep Palm Coloringz and Bamboo Leaf Spritz.

I love those colors together! It's so refreshing!

I used a bunch of flowers and amongst those, I scattered some Skeleton Leaves chipboards from 2Crafty. I embossed them with green embossing powder.

I also embossed the Easter Vines piece and placed it beside my picture. I love the shape of this piece. My title is from the Mini Words Set 2.
