Spread your Wings (7 Dots Studio)

Dear crafty friends,

I'm here today to share a video tutorial I created for 7 Dots Studio. I couldn't resist using the brand new Paint Chips collection. Dee Dee created magic once again!

I chose the beautiful Nightshade 12x12 paper.

I created a mixed media background using the Hatched stencil and some graphite texture paste.

I also used the Paint Chips Clear Stamps with black ink and with gold embossing powder.

I created a paper cluster with papers from the 6x6 pad and tags from the 12x12 Tags.

I decorated my layout with flowers and flair badges.

I also added a few chipboard pieces from 2Crafty Chipboard.

I used the Paint Chips 6x12 Element Stickers and the Paint Chips 6x12 Die-cut Elements, to add some yellow around my cluster.

My title comes from the Northern Lights 6x12 Word Stickers sheet. I thought the colors matched pretty well my layout.

I filmed my process for you to see it.

Memories (2Crafty Chipboard)

Dear crafty friends,

My second layout for 2Crafty features a family picture and is called «Memories».

This time, I selected the Frame Elouise's as my focal point.

I embossed it with gold embossing powder.

I then used one of the Ada's Flourishes. I cut it in half, placing the biggest part below my picture. I embossed it with bronze embossing powder.

The other half, I placed it left to my picture.

I also embossed the Tahnya's 6" Border with this bronze embossing powder.

I placed it on the left side of my layout, in my flowers cluster.

Finally, I used one of the Line Words - Goodtimes Borders, embossed in bronze powder.

You Shine (2Crafty Chipboard)

My dear crafty friends,

Is it really the middle of November yet? I can't believe time flies that fast! I almost didn't make it this month for my monthly share, but I managed to steel a few hours to create two layouts that I share with you today. The first one is called «You Shine». I used the beautiful Zella teal collection from Prima.

I started out with the Circle Lace Panel. I cut it in a few pieces and I embossed those with black embossing powder.

Next, I selected the beautiful Leafy Shrub Set 2.

I used all three pieces on my layout, amongst my flower clusters.

I covered them partially with dark teal embossing powder, leaving the raw chipboard showing in a few places. I love the distress look it gives.

Finally, my title piece is the You Shine words. I embossed it with aqua embossing powder.

Always (7 Dots Studio)

Dear crafty friends,

I'm sharing with you today my latest layout created for 7 Dots Studio. It is called «Always».

I started my layout with the Fortune paper from the Fortune-teller collection.

I love that paper. I created a mixed media background on it, using, paints first, and then stencils.

I chose the Letters Stencil from the Writers Block collection. I used it with graphite texture paste.

I then selected the Squares Stencil from the Soulmates collection. I used it with black heavy gesso.

Next step was stamping. I used the Hazy Days Clear Stamps with black Archival Ink.

To mat my picture, I used the Fortune-teller 12x12 Tags and pieces of the Tarot paper, also from the Fortune-teller collection.

I used die-cut shapes here and there on my layout, to create some texture.

I used some of the 6x12 Word Stickers from the Fortune-teller collection in three key places on my layout.
