Dazzling (Blue Fern Studios)

Hi,

Here is my last layout for Blue Fern Studios this month.

Dazzling

My last layout is called Dazzling. I used the Calling Cards paper.

To add interest to the background, I used the Shabby Edges and the Postal Textures stamps with black ink.

Behind my picture, I used one of the Looped Frames. All my chipboards pieces were embossed with ebony Imagine Ink embossing powder.

I also used half of the Dangle Border in two key places on my layout.

I used Seaside Lilies and Tranquil Roses and Lilies amongst my flower arrangement. I love Blue Fern Studios lilies!

My title piece is part of the Brilliant, Amazing, Dazzling set.

Here is a link to my video:

Dream Big (Blue Fern Studios)

Hi,

Here is my second layout for August for Blue Fern Studios.

Dream Big

My second layout is called Dream Big. I used the B side of the Embark Paper.

I used the Making Plans stamp on this layout also. I just love this stamp.

My chipboards are the Garden Lattice Bits, which are embossed with a dark brown embossing powder.

On the picture above, I used some of the Seaside Lilies and Attic Charm Daisies.

My chipboard title, part of The Optimist Words Set, is embossed with a mix of auburn, mushroom and buttercup Imagine Ink embossing powders.

Live (Blue Fern Studios)

Hi,

I hope this post finds you well. I'm up today on the blog to share my first creation for August for Blue Fern Studios. I had fun with the Seaside Cottage collection.

Live

My layout is called Live. I used the Splendor paper. I primed it with clear gesso and applied modeling paste and inks.

After that, I used the Forever and Making Plans stamps with black ink to add interest on my background paper. I used the Seaside Lanterns, which I embossed with dark brown embossing powder.

To embellish my layout, I used the Cottage Blooms, the Attic Charm Glitter Roses and the Attic Charm Daisies.

On the bottom right corner of my picture, I used one of the Mini Frames, which I also embossed with a dark brown powder.

Beauty (Shimmerz Paints)

Hi,

I'm here to share my second layout for Shimmerz Paints for August. It's a very simple layout today.

Beauty

I just love this picture I took of my daughter a few years ago. She looks like a little model, with the wind in her hair.

To match my picture and my paper, I chose to use two sprays: Jeni B Bleu Vibez and Plum Pudding Spritz. I applied Jeni B Bleu first, with a brush, making sure to dry it before applying the Plum Pudding color.

I used those same colors to make some drops around my composition, to add interest.

On my title chipboard, I used white gesso and when it was dry, I painted some Jeni B Bleu Vibez ink on it, to match.

Have a nice day.

Merveilleux (Shimmerz Paints)

Hi crafty friends,

I'm here today to share with you a layout I did for Shimmerz Paints.

Merveilleux

I started out with the beautiful Meadows of Time paper from the Sanctuary collection, by Blue Fern Studios. I primed it with clear gesso.

I wanted to use some embossing paste, but I didn't have the right color, so I created my own mix using some white texture paste and two Vibez colors: Don't Be Suede and Glorious Day. I spread this home made paste through a checkered stencil and freely with a palet knife. I love the result.

To add more color to my layout, I used the Well Blue Me Down Coloringz. I love its bright color.

It was pretty, but I thought something was missing, so I used the Under My Skin Shimmerz to make some drops. It just tie everything together.

Some white paint drops, some stamping, some embellishing (I used the Grid Pieces chipboards from Blue Fern Studios), a title (the French Adjectives 1, also from Blue Fern Studios), and it was good to go!

Don't forget to mention my blog when you order at Shimmerz:

Have a nice day.
