Delightful (Blue Fern Studios)

Hi,

This is my last layout for Blue Fern Studios this month.

Delightful

Finally, my last layout is called Delightful. I started with one of my all time favorites collection: Ombré Dreams. The background paper here is called Ginger's Dream.

I used the Forever and Serendipity Medley stamps to stamp on my background.

I cut the Turkish panel and embossed the pieces with Imagine Ink snow embossing powder.

Over that, I used the Blooming Flourish that I cut and embossed with Sea Mist Imagine Ink embossing powder.

My title piece, part of The Optimist Word Set, is embossed with Auburn Imagine Ink embossing powder.

Have a nice day.

Glee (Blue Fern Studios)

Hi,

I can't believe it's already the end of September! Were did the summer went? Oh my...

September 24th means it's my day over at Blue Fern Studios.

Glee

My second layout uses the Stillness paper from the Tranquility collection.

On my background, i used the Serendipity Medley and Essential Textures stamps.

I decided to cut apart the Dresden Corsage and to emboss the flowers I created with some Garnet Imagine Ink embossing powder.

To go with the flowers, I also used the Spring Branch that I cut in pieces and embossed with Fern Imagine Ink embossing powder. To add some interest, I used a sponge to add some white gesso while the powder was still hot.

I used some flowers from the Attic Charm Daisies set and some from the Tranquil Blooms set.

Finally, my title piece is part of the Serendipity Words 2 set. I coloured it with ink.

I hope it inspires you.
Have a nice day.

Lovely (Shimmez Paints)

Hi,

It's already the time to share my second creation for Shimmerz Paints. Here it is.

Lovely

I love the subtle colors of this layout against the contrasting black and dark greys.

My background is made with a few colors. I used three shades of green: Feshly Minted Inklingz, 4 Leaf Clover Spritz and Hermit the Frog Vibez. I used water to blend the two together in some places, while I left them separated in other areas. On the picture above, we can see that I also used some Licorice Stick Dazzelerz through a stencil.

I used Taupe of the Morning Vibez and Taupe of the World Spritz (both part of the Mono Tonez) to add contrast to my layout. I even used the Vibez to color a flower.

I wanted to add lace, but I didn't have black lace. I ended up making my own by spraying white lace with Taupe of the Morning Vibez. I love the result.

My title piece was covered with white gesso first, and then, I used Freshly Minted Inklingz to color it.

My Everything (Shimmerz Paints)

Hi,

I'm here to share with you my latest layout created with the beautiful products from Shimmerz Paints. It is called «My Everything». Here it is.

As I always do, I started out with a coat of clear gesso all over my background paper, to seal it and to let me play more easily with the colors I have chosen.

I used three colors to create my background: Keep Palm Coloringz, Deep Blue Sea Vibez and Ride the Tide Creameez. I just love this color combo so much: it's so fresh and soft.

To apply the color, I used a round brush and I made drops here and there, spraying a little bit of water in some places to help the color to move a little better. I used my heat tool between each color to make sure the color was dry and that I didn't end up with a brownish kind of color.

And don't forget, if you want to order those beautiful Shimmerz Products, it's easy, and you could get some free paint too! The store is right this way. Be sure to mention my blog to get your free product.

Have a nice day.

A Walk on the Beach (Blue Fern Studios)

Hi,

Today, I want to share a layout I made for September moodboard over on the Blue Fern Studios blog. Here is my layout.

A Walk on the Beach

I used the Serendipity collection. My background paper is the Contemplation paper.

Here is the moodboard:

I was inspired by everything: the colors, the flowers, the shell, the beach picture...

I used the Calling Cards, the Fascination and the Anticipation papers also, behind my picture, chipboards and flowers.

I stamped on my background with the Brocade Texture and the Arcadia Textures stamps. I used Versamark Ink and Snow Imagine Ink embossing powder.

My chipboards are the Mesh Bits, which I covered with a sand effect paste. I used white gesso to make the texture stand out.

I used lots of flowers, amongst which there are Seaside Lilies, Seaside Roses and Tranquil Roses and Lilies.

My title piece is A Walk On The Beach, which was released with the Seaside Cottage collection. I covered it with a sand effect paste and highlighted the details with white gesso.

Blue Fern Studios products used:
Contemplation, Calling Cards, Fascination and Anticipation papers from Serendipity
Brocade Texture and Arcadia Textures stamps
Snow embossing powder
Seaside Liles, Seaside Roses and Tranquil Roses and Lilies flowers
A Walk on the Beach and Mesh Bits chipboards

Come play with us, the board is gorgeous. You have the month to enter your creation.

Have a nice day.
