It's already time to share with you another challenge on Words & Paintery. 

Bien que j'adore ce combo couleurs, j'ai eu beaucoup de difficulté à en faire une page. Je suis de plus en plus intimidée par un fond blanc, et je n'arrivais pas à trouver un papier de fond dont la couleur ne serait pas trop saturée... J'ai fini par me laisser tenter par un vieux papier dont l'endos était gris et dont j'ai atténué le motif avec du gesso blanc.

Even though I adore this color combo, I had a hard time putting this layout together. The more time goes, the more white backgrounds overwhelm me, and I wasn't able to find a background paper with those colors that wasn't too bright. I finally chose this grey background which I toned down with white gesso.

J'ai appliqué de la pâte à texturer à travers un masque, puis j'ai ajouté trois couleurs de mists au pinceau. Une étampe de Prima avec de l'encre Archival noire, un chipboard embossé, quelques embellissements et le tour était joué.

I applied some modeling paste through a stencil and then, I added three mists colors with a paint brush. A Prima stamp with black Archival ink, an embossed chipboard, a few embellishments and voilà!
